The DIY Livery Yard Facility available to both Horse and Pony and Owner differs depending on the type of DIY Livery chosen.
Grass Livery
includes:- grazing
- use of Buildings and General Facilities
- specified area in which to store equipment
- an area of hard standing where the horse may be groomed, shod etc
- a water supply
- a provision to heat water and provide adequate light sufficient to examine and provide veterinary care to the horse
- kitchen and toilet facilities
Grass DIY Livery with Riding Facilities
includes:As Grass DIY Livery, plus:
- Horse walker
- Round Pen (when available)
- Jumping Paddock (depending on weather and ground conditions)
- Newly refurbished Menage with sand and rubber surface (20m x 60m)
- Set of Show Jumps
- Farmland hacking – (weather, crop and cattle grazing cycles may alter access to certain)
Stabled DIY Livery
includes:As Grass DIY Livery with Riding Facilities, plus:
- a stable
- a muck management system
- during the months between October and March horses/ponies will get at least ½ day turn out per day at least 25 days of the month.
- Turn out may be restricted during a very wet period completely for up to 5 days in a month
- A stable with adequate light and ventilation will be provided (stable may change if necessary)
- An 8-10 kilo hay net per day per horse stabled throughout the year. (An additional charge will be made for horses fed additional hay).
