The yard is split into two main areas. The large block houses 15 stables and the small block 9 stables. Both are modern and well equipped. Each block has its own secure tack room and feed and storage room and undercover tie up area and excellent lighting - so important during those for those long winter months!
Our bedding material of choice is rape straw chop which is similar to shavings but breaks down far quicker and is
more affordable. We find that it is not only absorbent,light and easy to use but also versus the use of straw bedding it keeps the yard and muck heap management much tidier too.
We are able to provide hay free of charge for all stabled horses all year round. It is produced by us on either land here at the farm itself or on our local commons.
