Owning a horse demands so much of our time, dedication and hard work and so it's important that a yard has a friendly feel and involves some social activities too. We try to get together at various times during the year for a drink and a chat. Sometimes, it's a BBQ at the yard, at other times a drink in a local pub. Occasionally too we hold fun themed activities for the children like our Christmas Handy Pony Competition or our Mounted
Easter Egg Hunt and in the summer we organise a picnic ride to Odney Common. There's always so much more we could do and of course it depends on who and what our yard members are interested in. Some of our yard members are interested in natural horsemanship and courses have been held here at the farm during summer months.
